A standout student as well, England has captured numerous academic honors. During her junior year in 2009-10, she earned New Jersey Athletic Conference Academic First Team honors, was named to the Academic All-District 2 First Team, captured two USTFCCCA academic honors and was recognized on both the track and the cross country teams for the Philadelphia Inquirer Academic All-Area program, including the honor of being named as the Inquirer’s Academic All-Area Runner of the Year in track and cross country. ![]() As a junior alone, England earned All-NJAC honors in every season, including conference titles in both indoor and outdoor track, won the NJAIAW Cross Country Championship and added All-Atlantic Regional cross country recognition. She also captured or shared nine honors as Rutgers-Camden’s Raptor of the Week and added NJAC Women’s Cross Country Runner of the Week honors. England holds Rutgers-Camden cross country records for both the 5K and 6K distances, owns eight indoor track records (five individual and three relays) and has set four individual outdoor program marks. On November 13 2010, Robin set another cross country standard at Rutgers University-Camden by finishing seventh out of 236 competitors at the NCAA Division III Atlantic Regional Cross Country Championship in Oneonta, N.Y. to become the first woman in the Raptors’ cross country program history to qualify for the NCAA Division III Cross Country Championship. The Lady Raptors’ co-captain finished 68th out of 279 runners in the NCAA championships, which were run in near-freezing temperatures on a windy day. England posted a time of 22:10.9, which was the second-fastest 6K time in program history behind her record clocking of 21:55.88 at the New Jersey Athletic Conference Championships Oct. 30, 2010. HADDON TOWNSHIP HIGH SCHOOL AND COMMUNITY Robin earned six varsity letters in cross country and track at Haddon Township High School, competing for Coach Sylvia Schenk in cross country and Coach Glen Gess in track. She was a member of the National Honor Society, 3-M Honor Society, and the Spanish National Honor Society. Robin was also a member of the String Ensemble, Orchestra, Pit Orchestra, and The Touring Strings Club, where she played the violin. She was also a member of the Concert and Marching Band where she was a percussionist. She was active in student council and was a member of various clubs. She served as a peer tutor and mentor in the Cross-Age Mentor Program. Robin’s contributions to the community mirrored those of her involvement in high school. As a volunteer as a junior member of Westmont Fire Company, she achieved the office of Junior Vice President and Junior Lieutenant. She also participated in many fundraisers for the American Heart Association and Tony’s Run, among others. She participated in competitive swimming with the Sea Hawks at Crystal Lake Pool.
